Referral Program Policy

How it works

Every GroomerConnect member gets a unique referral link. Share it with other groomers. When someone signs up using your link and purchases a course, you earn account credit.

What you earn

You receive $20 in account credit for every referred member who completes their first course purchase.

Account credit can be applied toward any course or business kit on GroomerConnect. Account credit has no cash value and cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or exchanged for cash.

What qualifies

A referral counts when all of the following are true:

• The new member creates their account through your referral link — clicking the link starts a 30-day window in which their signup is attributed to you
• The new member is signing up for the first time — existing members do not generate referral credit if they click your link
• The new member completes their first course purchase. This is what releases your credit; once they've signed up through your link, there is no deadline on the purchase itself

The 30-day window

Clicking your referral link places a tracking cookie that lasts 30 days. As long as the person creates their GroomerConnect account within that window, their signup is attributed to you — even if they don't join the same day.

Once they've signed up through your link, there's no deadline on the purchase: you earn your credit whenever they complete their first course purchase. If the cookie expires before they sign up, the referral won't track — so it's worth following up with people you've referred.

What doesn't qualify

• Referring yourself or creating duplicate accounts to generate credit
• Referring someone who already has a GroomerConnect account
• A referred member's first purchase being a kit — only a course purchase triggers a payout (though the credit you earn can be spent on courses or kits)

How credit is applied

Account credit is added to your account automatically the moment your referral completes their qualifying course purchase — there's no waiting period and no code to enter. It's then applied automatically at checkout on your next purchase.

Account credit does not expire.

If a purchase that earned referral credit is later refunded, we may reverse the corresponding credit.

Misuse

We monitor for referral fraud, including fake accounts, self-referrals, and incentivized clicking schemes (e.g., “click my link and I'll pay you back”). Accounts found misusing the referral program may have credit revoked and, in serious or repeated cases, may be suspended from GroomerConnect.

Changes to this program

We may update the referral incentive, the qualifying window, or these terms at any time. Changes apply to new referrals going forward and will not retroactively affect credit you've already earned.
