These Terms of Service govern your use of GroomerConnect. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms.
Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be a professional groomer or otherwise have a legitimate business reason to use GroomerConnect, and be at least 16 years old.
Courses and purchases
When you buy a course or kit, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to access that content for your own professional development. You may not share, resell, or redistribute course content, downloads, or kit materials.
Refunds
Refund eligibility depends on what you bought and is governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these terms. In short: courses and certifications are refundable within 14 days of purchase if you have not completed a substantial portion; business kits and downloadable materials are non-refundable, because access is delivered instantly and the files are yours to keep the moment you buy; live event tickets are refundable up to 24 hours before the event begins; and marketplace listing fees are non-refundable once a listing goes live.
Certifications
GroomerConnect certifications recognize completion of our coursework and assessments. They are GroomerConnect credentials and are not government licenses or accreditations. We may revoke a credential issued in error or obtained through dishonest means.
Marketplace
The marketplace is a listing platform for groomers to buy and sell equipment directly. GroomerConnect is not a party to those transactions. Your use of the marketplace is governed by our Marketplace Policy, which is incorporated into these terms.
Referral program
Members can earn account credit by referring new members. Participation is governed by our Referral Program Policy, which is incorporated into these terms.
Instructor program
Approved instructors may create and sell courses on GroomerConnect. The instructor relationship is governed by our Instructor Policy, which is incorporated into these terms.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse GroomerConnect. This includes no fraud, no scraping or unauthorized access, no posting of unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, and no attempts to disrupt the service or other members' use of it.
Educational content — not professional advice
GroomerConnect provides business education. It is not legal, tax, financial, or veterinary advice. You are responsible for how you apply what you learn, and for complying with the laws and regulations that apply to your business.
Intellectual property
GroomerConnect, our courses, tools, and branding are owned by us or our instructors and licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Instructors retain ownership of their course content as described in the Instructor Policy.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
GroomerConnect is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GroomerConnect is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the outcome of any marketplace transaction between members.
Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or our policies. Access you have already paid for is handled as described in the relevant policy (for example, students keep access to purchased courses).
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated version and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
